| Cape Coral was only 10 miles down the river from Ft. Myers Municipal Marina, but we felt that a short first day would suit the doggies better. As you can see, though, we have an exhausted pup. Dennis looks a little tired out as well - of course he just drove 1600 miles. I was writing up my daily log when I heard a light bump against the boat, I went outside to see what was up and it was someone on a jet ski just looking at Doublewide. We spent a few minutes talking and out of the blue, he invited Dennis and I over to his place for dinner. Janos and his wife Rachel and their three sons are wonderful folks and typical of those that I have met along the way. I believe that Dennis is having a great time! We only stayed a day and I only got a couple of pictures as we were busy socializing and left early in the morning. |
